About the role
As a Youth Worker, you’ll support young people and help provide a safe, settled environment overnight. This is a wake over role, so you’ll remain awake and available throughout your shifts.
Hours of work: 32 hours per fortnight. You’ll work Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am, in both weeks of the fortnight.
We’re looking for someone with
- A patient, friendly and kind approach to supporting young people
- The ability to communicate and build positive relationships
- A reliable, team-focused approach to overnight work
- Relevant experience working with young people
- A full New Zealand driver licence
