We’re seeking an enthusiastic and detail-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition Team. Based in Palmerston North, you’ll coordinate and support the recruitment process from advertising through to appointment, helping our hiring managers deliver a positive and inclusive experience for every candidate.

You’ll play an important part in keeping recruitment activities on track, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all required documentation and pre-employment checks are completed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support end-to-end recruitment activities across MASH Trust
  • Schedule interviews and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Assist with preparing and placing job advertisements
  • Complete required background checks, safety checks and candidate vetting
  • Obtain and maintain accurate candidate and new employee documentation
  • Support the verbal offer, appointment and onboarding processes
  • Keep the talent acquisition system and recruitment records accurate and up to date
  • Help build and maintain talent pools for current and future vacancies
  • Support inclusive and culturally responsive recruitment practices
  • Assist with recruitment reporting, events and continuous improvement initiatives

About you:

  • Previous recruitment experience
  • Administration experience within a medium to large organisation
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confidence working independently and using sound judgement
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills or experience using similar applications
  • Experience using recruitment or onboarding systems would be an advantage
  • An understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and unconscious bias in recruitment
  • Health, social services or public-sector experience would be advantageous
  • A full, clean driver licence
