We have recently established a home in Whanganui supporting three flatmates to live happy meaningful lives. 

We are looking for people who are empathetic, passionate support workers. 

You will be part of a small team who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to those who live and work in the home. The team provide a safe home environment where three flatmates learn new skills, independence and build friendships with peers. You will be 'their person' to support them to interact with others in their community doing the activities they enjoy.


The Position: This is a part time role working 32 hours per fortnight

Working every Saturday and Sunday 9am through until 6pm
This role could be every second weekend for the right applicant


  You will have/be:.

  • A passion for people, be patient, friendly and kind
  • The ability to understand, communicate and connect with people 
  • Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
  • Energy, enthusiasm and enjoy being part of a team
  • Assisting with personal cares when required
  • Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
  • A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH Trust
