About the Role: This is a full-time position, 80 hours per fortnight, working from Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm, supporting eight mature residents.



Skills and Experience:

  • A Passion for People: Be motivated, energetic, patient, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people
  • Cooking Skills: Confident preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents. 
  • Medication Administration: Willingness to learn medication administration, with training and support provided.
  • Experience: Must have 2 years minimum experience working in the Mental Health Sector
  • Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
  • Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
  • Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust
