About the Role:

This is a casual Support Worker position based on the Kāpiti Coast, with shifts offered on an as-and-when-required basis.

Casual work offers flexibility, with no guaranteed hours or ongoing commitment to shifts. Shifts will be offered based on the needs of the service, and you can choose whether to accept them depending on your availability.

As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support, helping the people we support with their day-to-day activities, personal care, building independence and participating in their community.

We're looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable and comfortable working different shifts depending on the needs of the service.


We're Looking For Someone With:

  • A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate and genuinely connect with people.
  • Previous Experience: Experience working in a Support Worker or similar role is required.
  • Empathy & Understanding: A person-centred approach to supporting others.
  • Team Player: A professional, honest and reliable team player with a flexible mindset.
  • Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
  • Driver Licence: A full NZ Driver Licence is essential.
