The Position:

This role can be based Palmerston North, Wellington or Levin.  Reporting to the Group Manager – Disability, you will ensure operations are operating seamlessly and strive for continuous improvement. You will be managing services across multiple locations, and your focus will be on delivering quality services, motivating your team, demonstrating manaakitanga, responsiveness and flexibility to the needs of the people we support.


Skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of the NZ health sector and disability support services is preferable
  • Proven people management and leadership experience in a person-centric environment
  • Experience  with identifying opportunities for growth and establishing new services
  • Have a track record in developing and implementing operational plans
  • Champion Enabling Good Lives principles in decision-making
  • Familiarity with service agreements and contracts
  • Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to achieve outcomes
  • Proven experience in monitoring and managing quality of service
  • Demonstrate resilience in overcoming challenges to build new support services
