People Project Officer (Fixed Term – 18 Months). Help build the systems, learning and capability that support great lives.

At MASH Trust, we're building the systems, learning programmes and organisational capability that support great outcomes for the people we work alongside.

We're looking for a People Project Officer to help turn ambitious ideas into practical, sustainable improvements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across Human Resources, Learning and Development, Health, Safety and Quality, supporting projects that strengthen workforce capability, improve systems and processes, and enhance the way we support our people.

If you enjoy taking a project from concept through to implementation, are naturally curious, and like figuring out better ways of doing things, we'd love to hear from you.

Hours - Full-time working Monday to Friday between hours of 8am - 5pm to be confirmed with right applicant.

About the role

Working alongside the Chief People Officer and People Team, you'll coordinate and deliver a diverse range of organisational improvement projects. No two projects will be quite the same.

One day you might be developing implementation resources or documenting business processes. The next you could be helping roll out a new learning programme, supporting the implementation of a digital system, preparing governance reporting, or developing practical tools that make life easier for our managers and frontline teams.

You'll help turn approved plans into real outcomes that strengthen organisational capability across MASH.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys solving problems and making things happen
  • Can manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Communicates clearly and writes well
  • Is confident using digital technologies and enjoys learning new systems
  • Is comfortable using AI and other emerging technologies to improve productivity and develop high-quality resources
  • Can quickly learn new software, platforms and tools without needing extensive direction
  • Builds positive relationships and works collaboratively with a wide range of people
  • Is organised, practical and enjoys seeing projects through to completion.

You'll bring

  • Experience coordinating projects or organisational improvement initiatives
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong written communication and document development skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and contemporary digital tools
  • The ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team
  • A genuine interest in continuous improvement and organisational capability.

Experience with digital learning platforms, e-learning authoring tools or AI-assisted content development would be an advantage

Why join MASH?

This is an opportunity to make a real contribution to the future of our organisation.

You'll work on projects that improve learning, workforce capability, systems, quality and organisational performance while being part of a supportive People Team committed to continuous improvement and helping people achieve great lives.

If you're practical, curious, digitally confident and enjoy turning ideas into meaningful organisational improvements, we'd love to hear from you.

We review applications as they are received, so this role may close earlier if we find the right candidate.
