MASH Trust are a leading provider of disability, mental health, and addiction services. We have services throughout the lower North Island with over 550 staff and volunteers. We work as one team, empowering each other to promote community inclusion and self-determination for those we walk alongside.
The Positions: These are casual positions, working on an as and when required basis.
We are looking for people who are empathetic, passionate support workers. You will be part of a small team who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to those who live and work in the home. You will need to have some availability to work weekends and be open to attending church with those we support.
Skills and Experience:
- A passion for people, be patient, friendly and kind
- Minimum 12 months experience working within Mental Health or other Health Sector
- The ability to understand, communicate and connect with people
- Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
- Carrying out personal cares
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential
- Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
