 A bit about LUCK

LUCK is a safe place and space where people can come to feel supported, reconnect, find a sense of belonging and enjoy a hot meal. LUCK provides a number of activities that support people and whānau to engage in fun, healthy and safe experiences that can increase opportunities and wellbeing. The Hub Facilitators will be responsible for providing resources, workshops, activities and outreach services at our LUCK Venue.

The ability to think outside of the box is important as is the empathy and resilience to provide a service to those in our community who need support to enable them to live good lives.

Skills and experience:

  • Experience and ability to communicate and work with people from all walks of life 
  • Previous experience facilitating is preferable 
  • Have or be happy to work towards a NZ Mental Health Level 4 Certificate or already hold a relevant qualification
  • A full NZ Driver Licence as you will be required to drive a van as part of your role.
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviours in others
  • Self motivated, compassionate with a mature outlook

Hours:

This part time permanent role working 36 hours per fortnight

Week 1: Tuesday to Friday 8am until 1.30pm
Week 2: Tuesday to Friday 12.30pm until 4.30pm
