The Role: This role is full-time permanent working 80 hours per fortnight based in Palmerston North
The Intermediate Network Administrator plays a key part in maintaining and optimising network systems & devices, IT&S infrastructure and contributing to the smooth functioning of MASH Trust IT&S operations. You will provide focussed support and guidance, in an enabling manner, to managers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Support
- Deploying and configuring of networks
- Maintaining system integrity and security
- Improving system performance
- Developing back-end network architecture
- Conducting data backups
Skills and Experience:
- Experience and understanding of routers and firewalls
- Understanding of switches, hubs, patch panels and connecting nodes to a network
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure and operating systems
- Solid understanding of configuring TCP/IP sub-netting and troubleshooting internet connectivity
- Customer-focused approach
- Ability to work under pressure
- Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
