About the Role: full-time working 80 hours per fortnight
Week 1: Monday 6.45am - 3.15pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7am - 3.30pm, Saturday and Sunday 6.45am - 3.15pm
Week 2: Monday and Wednesday 7am - 3.30pm, Thursday 6.45am - 3.15pm and Friday 7am - 3.30pm

To be successful in this key role you will mentor and inspire our team of support staff.  Your day may include supporting people to plan day-to day-tasks, attending activities in the community, personal cares, or medication administration. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the home, ensuring the needs of others are met by maintaining a high standard of service. Your excellent communication skills and leadership capability will enable you to encourage your team to be successful in their role, providing them with the support and assistance that they need.

  • Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working within health sector and leading a team 
  • Relevant Qualification: A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing - Level 4 preferred
