About the Role: Full-time fixed term position until 31 March 2026 working 78 hours per fortnight across two Lower Hutt locations

Week 1 : Monday 7am - 4.05pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7am - 3pm and Saturday 7am - 4.05pm
Week 2: Tuesday and Wednesday 7am - 3pm, Thursday and Friday 7am - 4.05pm


 We're Looking For Someone With:

  • A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people
  • Empathy & Understanding: An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.
  • Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
  • Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Previous Experience: Work or lived experience as a support worker
  • Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust.
