Position: Full-time - Levin This position is a full-time permanent position working 81 hours per fortnight. 9 x 9 hour shifts with a paid lunch break.

Hours of Work:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday working from 8am to 5pm
Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday working from 8am to 5pm

Skills and Experience:

  • A Passion for Tāngata/ People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people
  • Experience: Must have 12 months minimum experience working in the Health Sector
  • Empathy & Understanding: Person-centerd focus.
  • Practical Skills: Carry out personal cares, showering and grooming
  • Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
  • Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.
  • Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain): A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust.
