The Role:
We are seeking casual support workers to work as and when required within our Disability Team in Havelock North.
You will be part of a team will providing one on one daily support providing a safe home environment where new skills can be learnt. You will be 'their person' to support them to interact with others in their community doing the activities they enjoy. We are looking for kind, special people with empathy and a passion to help others.
Skills and Experience:
- A relevant qualification and/or experience working within the Disability or Mental Health Sectors is preferable
- Hold a current full driver's license
- The ability to take pride in a healthy home environment – including assisting with cleaning, meal preparation and shopping.
- Caring and kind in nature with integrity that can provide support to people from all walks of life.
- Eligible to work in New Zealand
